The Woodlands Town Center Trolley is a complimentary public transportation service that is offered to all guests, residents, and workers of The Woodlands, TX. Providing convenient access seven days a week to well-known establishments for shopping, entertainment, dining, and lodging in the Town Center neighborhood of The Woodlands.
The Woodlands Town Center Trolley is a convenient mode of public transportation that operates along a route that spans 4.1 miles and connects The Woodlands Mall, Market Street, Hughes Landing, and The Woodlands Waterway. Visitors have convenient access to a wide variety of retail establishments, entertainment venues, dining establishments, and lodging options thanks to the complimentary shuttle service. At any given moment, there will be multiple carts in operation in order to guarantee that wait times are kept to a minimum and average around ten minutes.
Passengers can now track the Town Center Trolley in real time on their mobile devices, in addition to the new stops that have been added. You can get information about the Town Center Trolley, such as its expected arrival times, location, stop information, surrounding attractions, and service alerts, by downloading the Ride Systems App on your mobile device. Any smartphone user can get the application by going to the respective app store for their operating system (Apple for iOS or Google Play for Android) and downloading and installing it for free. To begin using, after the installation is complete, navigate to the menu and pick “The Woodlands Township.”
The Town Center Trolley service has been improved by The Woodlands Township so that it now also provides service to the Hughes Landing neighborhood. Four trolleys will be in operation 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and will make a circuit around the Town Center area’s commercial and retail establishments at a frequency of approximately once every ten minutes during peak business hours. Formula funds from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) contribute some of the money needed to operate the Town Center Trolleys.
In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990, The Woodlands Township offers ADA Complementary Paratransit service in addition to the Town Center Trolley service, which operates on a fixed route. People who are unable to use the standard Town Center Trolley service can take use of this service instead.
ADA Complementary Paratransit is a shared ride, curb-to-curb service that is provided for passengers who meet the requirements of the ADA. The service area of The Woodlands Township includes a radius of three quarters of a mile around the fixed-route Town Center Trolley System. All of our vehicles are completely accessible, and the service is offered there. It is required that the eligibility area be met not only by the starting point but also by the ending point of the trip. It is possible to arrange trips up to seven days in advance, or even the day before the trip itself.
