Northshore

Northshore Park, which is perhaps the park with the most name recognition in The Woodlands, has been serving the Township for over twenty years as a major gathering place for many of our largest community events. In that time, it has become one of the most popular parks in the area. Each year, beginning in late spring and continuing until early October, Northshore Park, which is located just west of Lake Front Circle on Lake Woodlands Drive, plays host to the wildly popular and always free Concert in the Park series on Sundays. North Shore Park, the largest of the parks on the beaches of Lake Woodlands, in addition to being the starting location for the annual Dragon Boat Race and a popular destination for sport fishing, also serves as the launching point for the event. Picnic spots, a ramp for launching boats that do not require motors, and a pavilion with nightly live musical performances are all available to the public at Northshore Park.

Throughout the course of the year, Northshore Park plays host to a number of events, some of the most notable of which are the YMCA Dragon Boat Races, Concerts in the Park, and the Memorial Hermann Ironman Texas Start. The park features amenities such as barbecue grills. Swings Fishing Play Equipment Courts Dedicated to Volleyball Lake Woodlands may be found just next to the Park.
